About
Early years
Kevin’s musical adventure started extremely young, which led to learning instruments while growing up. He spent 3 years with saxophone until discovering a love of singing, and spent 7 years learning jazz, choral, and contemporary singing.
All along the way constantly surrounded by amazing music from the 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, early 2000’s and beyond. Kevin’s musical inspirations are vast, and are reflected in his work today.

Mid Years
Music tech was always at the forefront of Kevn’s exploration of music. Trying to emulate bands such as Depeche Mode, Everything But the Girl, Basement Jaxx, The Cure, Royksöpp, Zero 7, GoldFrapp, Bent, Portishead, Massive Attack, Bijork, The Cardigans, The Orb, Radiohead, Deee-Lite and many many more. From the early days of hardware MIDI sequencers, to the early versions of D.A.W.s - Kevin has not only lived through it all, has been there using the tech as it evolved (even to this day)!

Los Angeles Years
Between 2003 and 2017 Kevin spent this time working professionally in post production studios, music studios, and mastering houses. Everything from boutique production houses IE: “Widget Post”- defunct - (as a machine room tech, and mix stage tech) and “Original Productions” (as a music, sound FX, and dialogue editor). To juggernauts like Sony, and Paramount Pictures. 2013 saw Kevin winning a Golden Reel award for his contributions to the series “Deadliest Catch” as well as two honours from The Emmys in 2010, and 2011. As well as Becker Mastering helping catalogue, and digitising old masters of 90’s bands such as “Bush”.
In 2007 Kevin signed with Joshua Heath (Lonely Boy) to create tracks as “SKAGGS” under Josh’s (now defunct) label “Golden State Records”, which led to producing funky house tracks with DJ Joplin, and moving from the Canal Club in Venice beach to Marques Wyatt’s DEEP-LA in Hollywood. This led to a handful of house music releases on the UK Based “Jalapeño Records” with tracks such as: “Shake & Break”, & “Finish Line”.
Later in 2008 Kevin teamed up with Jai Freedom Lewis (of Warren G’s crew). Together they successfully, masterfully, and professionally executed many pieces of music for artists, music licensing companies, and productions. A few examples of noteworthy projects:
• 5 Alarm Music (Part of Anthem Entertainment) with tracks such as “Fight Night” featured in Amazon’s “The Boys”, and “Whispers” featured in “Grey’s Anatomy”, and many more.
• Giorgio Moroder’s “74 is the new 24” tour, and some remixes for Giorgio & Lady Gaga featuring Tony Bennett.
• Lil Dicky’s track “Bruh”. As seen on the blog page Jai and Kevin “saved the day” as Dave Burd put it.
The list goes on.
